Bio
Joseph M Grosso was bit by the theatre bug while watching Barbra Streisand in Funny Girl at the age of eight. He began formally studying the craft at Florida School of the Arts where he received his Associates of Arts in Applied Arts and Associates of Science in Musical Theatre. While there Joseph appeared in a number of plays and musicals, most notably as Perchik in Fiddler on the Roof and Professor Claude Night/Servant in Goodnight Desdemona, Good Morning Juliet. Mr. Grosso also founded a local chapter of Delta Psi Omega (a national theatre honor society), resided as Vice President of Fellowship in Phi Theta Kappa, was a semifinalist in the National Association of Teachers of Singing Competition, and received the Hall of Fame award for his work at the school.

Joseph went on to earn his Bachelors of Music in Musical Theatre at Manhattan School of Music. A recipient of the JMP Musical Theatre Scholarship, Mr. Grosso studied with Andrea Green. While there Joseph worked with such illustrious artists as David Loud, Joanna Gleason, Bebe Neuwirth, Randy Graff, and Victoria Clark among others. Mr. Grosso appeared in Sweeney Todd as Fogg/Ensemble, Fiorello! as a Politician, played Ted in Songs of Kern and Bobby in the world-wide premiere of a new version of Cabaret. Joseph, in collaboration with Manhattan School of Music, had the pleasure of singing with Kristin Chenoweth in Letters to Broadway, at the Drama League Gala honoring Nathan Lane, and at Carnegie Hall with Essential Voices U.S.A. and the New York Pops. Mr. Grosso founded Queer People for the Betterment of Society (QueerPBS) and a local chapter of the national theatre honor society Alpha Psi Omega during his time at MSM.
